Finally had the chance to watch Exit Through the Gift Shop.
Great movie, but had the curious effect of making me somewhat leery of success in the art world. (Not that I’m saying I really had to worry about that; just in theory, you understand.) I’d rather delight, uplift, entertain, interest than shock, provoke, offend … and I’d rather make accessible art that normal people like than stuff for the Art Crowd.
Hmm.
