Just finished this amazing book, lent by Matt. (Okay, I skipped the part on grids applied to 3D spaces, but aside from that…)
I’m a believer. Perhaps the most compelling argument, which caught me completely off-guard, was that grid systems were an aesthetic derived from conviction of some things being objectively better than others. I was educated with a “design until it feels right” mentality, so this was a breath of fresh air.
