I mean, if you’re referring to her by just one name. Do you call her “Queen” or “Latifah?” I have a few questions concerning this.
- If you call her Latifah, are you acknowledging her royalty?
- Do people actually ever call her “your majesty”?
- If she does go by Latifah, does she fill in forms as “Latifah, Queen” or “Queen, Latifah”? Or possibly “HRH, Latifah, Occupation: Queen”?
- And if she goes by Queen as a first name, is it confusing when she meets with monarchs? Do people have to navigate sentences like, “Queen, the Queen will see you now,” or “The King and Queen and Queen were seen eating beans in the green on Halloween”?
- Is Latifah supposed to be her last name?
- Does she have sons, and if so, are they named things like Prince, Duke, and Bobby Latifah?
- Do they have to refer to her as the Queen mother or Mom Latifah?
I feel like I need to sort this out in case I bump into her on the street. It could be awkward.
